Camp Hook-up Activities

Camp Hook-up will provide participants with hookup boxes which are basically Chinese take out boxes filled with whatever goodies people want to place in their hookup box. Ideas of hookup goodies we can provide include chapstick, candy, condoms, earplugs, sunscreen, rewetting drops for eyes, toilet seat covers for the blue rooms (Porto potties), fun riddles and games etc. Basically anything you would be stoked to be hooked up with while on the playa. Then the participant will need to write an address and name on the outside of the hookup box so it may be delivered. The participant then takes another previously made hookup box and delivers it to the written address thus creating an adventure and interaction for the participant.

This will be an on-going event but we’ll also have an advertized event on Thursday.

Directions:

1. Come to Camp Hook-up
2. Fill a Hook-up Box with stuff that your buddy needs to be hooked up with.
3. Write their name and location on the box.
4. Take a box made by another and deliver it to the person that they made it for.

Some of the many things found in Hookpup Cases: chapstick, saline for eyes, batteries, first aid stuff (burns, splinters and cuts), toothbrush, beads, lighter, zip ties, safety pins, gold tooth, tape, nailpolish, nail file, pen, emergency blanket, pregnancy kit, work gloves, latex gloves, flashlight finger things, sunscreen, sunglasses, rubber bands, candy stuff for good breath, tampons, toilet seat covers, glow sticks, scissors, condoms...

OK Camp Councilors,

We are here to Hook Up or to at least Hook Other People Up. We have a Staff meeting before we head out to do our JOB. During our Staff Meeting we all bring our Hook Up Case and have to describe two items we have today and why these two are your favorite for today. You will explain how you will be using them. The Staff meetings are fun and happen in the Limo or all places, where else to discuss hookin up.

Serendipidus psychotic serenety, i have found it. bubble wrap suits so i was making this illuminating staff and i used bubble wrap to disperse the light and it worked out great so i have decided to make a few more of them. for that i needed bubble wrap and guess what i get in the mail small electronics with an obscene amount of pink bubble wrap.

we need: bubble wrap, haz mat suits and spray glue , scissors (no running). They could be made on the playa in about 1/2hr - 1hr we can stensil the camp hookup logo on the suits? fuck yeah go to supplies the spray glue has been tested and found functional

The very busy and dangerous esplanade needs a crossing point. If we ask the hookup grandmas real nicely maybe they’ll help us staff a crossing guard station. We will provide the tea and cookies maybe a chocolate or two.
